GIKI expands sustainability efforts by installing another 1MW Solar Power Project. The total solar power of GIKI is now over 2MW.

The project was inaugurated by the Chairman of SkyElectric, Mr. Ashar Aziz. It was financed graciously by the National Bank of Pakistan and installed by SkyElectric Pvt. Ltd.

During the inauguration, Mr. Aziz’s inspiring speech, followed by a QA session, left a lasting impact on the students, empowering them with valuable insights and instilling a sense of awareness and responsibility.

Distinguished guests, including Mr. Osman Saifullah Khan, Member BoG, Mr. Shakil Durrani, Executive Director SOPREST, Prof. Fazal Khalid, SI, Rector GIK, Pro Rectors, Deans, Faculty, Directors, Students and Representatives of SkyElectric (PVT) limited joined hands to celebrate a monumental step towards sustainability.
